I drew this over a year ago and never posted it!

So, here's a proto-Zanadar (one of my own species) in the sense that as I was designing the species, they grew noses! :'D

So, the crazy thing with this is that the pose was done after I had some friends record a video of me swinging a bat around in a studio, and then slowed it down to get a great action pose. Nowadays, whenever I make images like this, I use a copyright-free pose that I either find on Mixamo (an adobe product correlated with Adobe Fuse, and if you're subscribed to the Cloud you can access it for free), reference from a live model at my college's studio, or pose myself with someone holding a camera and watching me do silly things in front of it. "It's for the art!" I cry, "I'm gonna have flames shooting out of this finger by the time it's said and done!" But they see through it---I'm a nerd.

Anyway, with the ever-present inner critic, there's a few things I wish I did differently, but I'm not gonna fuss about it. There's a lot learned in a year.
